The software’s integrated and intelligent design ensures that non-productive time is minimized. Time not spent chasing down missing or incomplete information, or managing repetitive and time-consuming tasks, is time spent performing the core aspects of a user’s job.

For example, as a technician requests a part from supply, the request is automatically processed by Maintenix. If the required part is available, the reservation is automatically made and materials personnel are immediately informed that the part is ready to be picked for issue. All the while, the technicians are able to easily track the status of their requests and are made aware once parts are ready to be collected. By the same token, should a change occur that renders the part unavailable, Maintenix ensures that the technicians are notified. In this way, the software enables technicians and storeroom personnel to focus on key activities, confident that Maintenix is managing the finer details through automation and communication.
